Dairy Free - Homemade - Vanilla Ice Cream

This is the perfect ice cream when you want a basic, dairy-free vanilla ice cream. Just 5 ingredients and insanely creamy results.  

What you'll need:

  • 2 cups hemp milk or preferred milk substitute 
  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil
  • 1/4 cup organic cane sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon konjac powder or xanthan gum

Place all ingredients in a medium size bowl, with an immersion blender mix for 30 seconds. You can also put all ingredients on a regular mixer and blend lightly.

Place liquid mixture in ice cream maker canister for 25 - 30 minutes or until mixture has reached desired consistency. Spoon mixture into storage container and place in freezer for several hours to chill.
